Karlstad, Sweden, 2001.
Guys drink, guys go out and while enjoying intoxicated moments together they form a band and promise each other: -”This is for real, we’ll rehearse tomorrow!”

The very next day, fate had supplied them with a room full of instruments, and only weeks later, they’d already played live and recorded their first demo. The name MAMA KIN, taken from the Aerosmith song with the same name, was the first to be suggested and were given thumbs up immediately.
For years they’ve been a celebrated act on the Swedish underground scene, and now they’ve finally recorded their debut album!
On May 15th MAMA KIN released their first single off the album, “Superman”, which debuted as high as nr 26 in the swedish chart. Single nr 2, the albums titel track “In The City” was released in late september accompanied by yet another astonishing video.
